Have you ever heard of a Didgeridoo? If not I'm gonna fill you in. A Didgeridoo is an Australian instrument. Originated approximately 15,000 years ago. A Didgeridoo is the oldest instrument ever made. Ancient Abarigians used this instrument to make animals calls. On Wednesday i met a Didg player and his name was Joesph we taught 21 of us kids how to produce the enchanting drone that comes out of this wonderful instrument. We used 4 ft hollow plastic poles (from home depot) and put bees wax around one end to make a mouth piece. Me and my sister had to share one and we were both getting frustrated because the sound coming out was not like Joe's or some of the other children 's. After awhile he stopped us all and had us all try going around the circle. When it got to allie she did not quite get it but when it came to me i got it almost perfectly. All the parents awww'ed and i was satisfied allie was apparently upset because once i was done she turned to me and said "i loathe you". Haha i think she was just kidding but who knows with allie. Anyway once he left me and a few other girls decided to make a band. So we went around the room asking kids if they'd like to join we currently we have about 10 didg players,two special effects persons, and one manager.
